English for A-levels

  • Before starting advanced level courses at JLC you may choose to attend intensive English classes at a specialist language school.
  • JLC is partnered with English in York (EIY) where you can improve your English language skills as well as developing study techniques to prepare you for A-levels.
  • EIY is accredited by the British Council and English UK
  • The course in York can vary in length depending on your needs and we will arrange transport from York to college at the beginning of term.
  • You will need to pay an additional charge for this intensive tuition but it should ensure that they you are well prepared from the start of lessons in September at John Leggott College.
  • More information about EIY.
