Meet and greet

We include a meet and greet service from Manchester Airport and Humberside Airport. This is with a trustworthy local taxi company who will take you directly to your accommodation.

We don’t recommend flying into London and if you arrive at Heathrow Airport you will need to make your own way to Scunthorpe.

Humberside Airport is 20 minutes (24 km) by road from college. The airport has frequent daily flights to the International hub of Amsterdam (Schiphol Airport). Manchester airport is 145km from college and there is a direct train service to Scunthorpe.

Visas

Students are largely responsible for organising their own visa. The International Welfare Officer can give limited advice regarding visas.
Students must apply under Tier 4 of the Points Based System (PBS).

The UK Border Agency has awarded John Leggott College a Highly Trusted Sponsor Licence [Register of Sponsors Licensed Under the Points-Based System]

As a Highly Trusted Sponsor of the UK Border Agency the College is unaffected by announced changes to the UK visa system for international students.
