Student Life - Student Destinations
John Leggott College is an open access college which takes students with a wide of abilities. Different students will follow different programmes of study and will progress onto a whole range of courses or employment. 70% of A-level students go onto university, with the rest moving onto further education or employment. Students wishing to follow professional art careers will take up a foundation art courses. Many of our intermediate students who follow a one year programme, return to John Leggott College to follow a range of A level courses. The college has a dedicated careers department to help you decide what is best for you, and along with your personal tutor will help you with your applications for employment, university, college or apprenticeships. We have very close links with a number of universities some of which offer bursaries to support John Leggott Students during their first year at university.
