Chaplaincy at John Leggott College
Susan Walker is the John Leggott College Chaplain. The Chaplaincy is located in Room A046 in the Student Support Corridor. Susan is around to support staff and students of all faiths and none. As well as being available to those who just want to drop into the chaplaincy for a coffee and a chat, Susan is also available to provide a listening ear in a confidential setting to those who need it. An experienced counsellor, Susan is ready to listen whatever the problem. Starting college can sometimes be a bit bewildering, as your are faced with all sorts of choices, learning new things, meeting new people, and juggling college work, home, a social life and possibly a job as well! Sometimes it just helps to talk. If you wish to talk to Susan, you can contact her by calling into her office, sending her an email or by booking an appointment through the Student Support Office (Room A049). John Leggott has a lively Christian Fellowship Group. The Chaplain is also happy to help students of other faiths organise meetings and prayer groups. The College has a Quiet/Prayer Room which is available to staff and students of all faiths and none for quiet reflection or prayer.
