What will I learn?

The BTEC First Award in Principles of Applied Science consists of 4 mandatory units, one of which is assessed via an external examination. The units include:

Entry Requirements

For this course, you should have achieved GCSE grade 3 or equivalent in Science, and we would prefer you to have GCSE grade 3 in Mathematics

How long will it take to qualify?

One year

How will I be assessed?

The course comprises a mix of formal examinations and by the completion of appropriate coursework. Students will need to work to set deadlines in order to be successful on this course.
