Computing & Systems Development – HND Level 5
What will I learn?
This qualification is delivered in partnership with North Lindsey College, and as such you will be enrolled as a University Centre student on a Pearson Edexcel award, having access to full facilities and support at both colleges.
You will study a range of units including computer systems, the Human computer Interface (HCI) and multimedia design. Units of study include:

Each module is assessed by a combination of coursework, in-class test and formal examinations.
Who is this course aimed at?
Students with passes in one A Level (40 UCAS Points) or BTEC NC/ND or VCE A Level plus 3 GCSEs at grade C/5 or above. We have a long-standing success rate with students who have been out of full-time education for some years, who may enter without holding the formal requirements. Work, family and life experiences develop skills which can be built on to achieve formal qualifications.
The HND Computing Science can be topped up to a degree by gaining entry onto a university computer science course. The HND can also lead to a career in a wide range of IT professions such as programming, system analysis, systems management and database development.
Fees for this course are £5,580*; students can access Student Finance funding for both course fees and maintenance loans/grants.
