Course Overview

The BTEC First Extended Certificate in Information and Creative Technology allow learners to develop a broad range of specialist skills, on a challenging programme of study related to the Computing Industry. This qualification is for learners who want to start a career in digital technology or to progress on to further related study.

Who is this course aimed at?

This course is particularly suited to post-16 learners who have the relevant interest and aptitude to progress in the sector, and can be taken as part of a wider study programme. It is an ideal qualification for learners intending to progress directly to employment in digital technology or IT, or to an IT Apprenticeship.
