Course Overview

You can take Health and Social Care at Level Two as part of our Step Up Pathway which will support and build your GCSE portfolio in order to achieve your dreams, hopes and aspirations in the Health industry, or other employment.

This can be taken as a International BTEC Extended Certificate (*).

We would recommend students who study Health and Social Care to complete work experience in a health setting to support their progression in the future. We work locally with a wide range of care homes, the NHS NLAG and education settings to provide an extensive range of opportunities and experiences. On this course you will develop an understanding and introduction to Health and Social Care to build on when you progress onto our Level Three course.
