Course Overview

Our Cambridge Technical, Sport and Physical Activity Level 2 course can be taken as part of our Step Up Pathway which will support and build your GCSE portfolio in order to achieve your dreams, hopes and aspirations.

This can be taken as an Extended Certificate (*).

Students will also develop professional, personal and social skills through interaction with peers, stakeholders and clients, as well as theoretical knowledge and understanding to underpin these skills. These support the transferable skills required by employers such as communication, problem solving, time management, research and analytical skills.

Who is this course aimed at?

This course is aimed at students on our Step Up Pathway, alongside English or Maths GCSE looking to build on their Level Two Portfolio with an interest in Health and Social Care. This qualification provides an introduction to Sport and Physical Activity.

What will you learn?

Students are not required to take external assessments and the expectation is that they will use the Award as a stepping stone into employment or further study.
