Progress Tutor
Job Description
Come and join our fantastic growing pastoral teams at JLC as a Progress Tutor.
Your role as a Progress Tutor will be to work with learners to help them achieve their full potential in a safe and supportive environment. Each individual learner journey is important to us; the role of the Progress Tutor is to support and encourage students to progress both academically and with their chosen career aim. Progress Tutors are responsible for managing a caseload of students supporting them to engage fully with their college programme, delivering a series of tutorials such as keeping safe and skills and ensuring that each individual learner progresses onto a positive destination after leaving JLC. The college’s learners are fantastic and JLC are looking for staff who can harness their talent, inspiring them to progress and contribute to a positive culture.
In return, we pride ourselves on offering more than just a place to work. At JLC, we promote a wider college community where departments, staff, and students come together to create a dynamic and supportive environment for all. By joining our team, you will have an opportunity to experience a collaborative and inclusive work culture, to partake in diverse and engaging activities and events and to be able to utilise state-of-the-art resources and facilities. On top of this you will also get the opportunity to work with dedicated educators, as well as the possibility for professional growth and development.
