The Learner Pathway Team work closely with a variety of local and national universities and employers to ensure learners have access to a wide range of opportunities and resources to support learners to achieve their future aspirations.

WELLBEING

All staff members at John Leggott College are committed to supporting students with their health and wellbeing. It is important that students are supported and happy whilst they are at college. Within college we have a dedicated wellbeing team who help to make sure that students are mentally, emotionally, and physically healthy. The team work closely with the students, teaching and pastoral staff to ensure that students are supported to deal with any problems they have.

Where appropriate the team will liaise with external agencies to ensure that we offer the right support and so that students get the best advice.

Students can access support from the wellbeing team at any point from enrolment to when they leave college. If you would like to discuss any wellbeing concerns then contact the team via reception, email or scan the QR codes in college.

You can find our Wellbeing Team in the ARC.

IT SERVICES

The IT Services team can support you with all aspects of college IT. They provide support for logging in, connecting to the Wi-Fi and can also show you how to get the most from the IT Services we provide such as Office 365 and Google Classroom.

Our IT Services team can be found in the IT Office, located in the Portal.

LEARNING

SUPPORT

Progress Tutors act as a first point of contact for students, delivering pastoral and academic support through one-to-one meetings and group tutorials, where students are able to reflect on their academic progress and gain an insight into their progression options after JLC.

When students embark on their JLC journey they will be assigned a Progress Tutor. Students can access their Progress Tutor at any point throughout the college week.

They also provide support with monitoring attendance and behaviour to instil independence and resilience within students. This enables them to be successful at college and prepares them for their next steps.
