
SUMMER SCHOOL
Ready for your child to have a summer adventure, meet new friends and raise their learning aspirations? Summer School is a fun filled annual one week package, offered over a two week period. It is tailored to students who are coming to the end of year 6 students and are currently living in North Lincolnshire.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During the Summer School 2022 programme, students enjoyed a range of activities including:

Introduction to First Aid with Emergency Care Worker Neil McGowan, and JLC Wellbeing Officer Wendy Siddall

Hull University’s Planetarium Experience

Airkings visit

Trip to UCNL making Philipps 66 racing cars and launching our own rockets

Tour and careers workshop with Bishop Grosseteste University

Making slime, burning foods and a murder mystery challange with JLC science department

Colour run and sports activities

Wellbeing workshop

Visit to Cleethorpes and The Jungle Zoo

Journalism workshop with the JLC English department and recording our own news show

FEES
The Summer School Programme provides students with one week of activities and workshops. These sessions run from Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm.
