John Leggott College are excited to share an amazing opportunity for Teacher of Film and Media. We are looking for a dedicated individual with strong subject knowledge and experience of teaching, or working in, Film and Media who could contribute to delivery of A Level programmes in these courses. We are particularly looking for a Film & Media teacher but as a large and highly experienced teaching team we have the capacity to be flexible and accommodate the specialist skills of any new colleagues. You could be from an industry background or recent graduate looking to start your journey into teaching.
Our Media and Computing Area has a range of A Level and Vocational courses, Media, Film, Games Design, Information Technology, Computer Science and Esports. In the department we are able to provide fantastic facilities to support your journey. We have three purpose-built studios for Esports, Media Production and Games Design. Our area contains dual monitor PCs, testing facilities for VR, console and mobile development, and much more!

Depending on your skill set and teaching allocations - this role may also be eligible for the Targeted retention incentive payments for FE teachers. Check to see if you are eligible to receive a Government Levelling up payment once you have made your application.
The role is suitable for Early Career Teachers and has an option of part time working. The College has excellent in-house training programs for Early Career Teachers and aspiring leaders, ongoing CPD opportunities in-house. We are part of Norvic College Group, SFCA Group and AoC group, and we would support individuals who would be taking their first steps into teaching.
