Rol, Kolej'in tüm Bilim tedarikine liderlik etmek olacaktır (birçok Kolej buna 'Fakülte Başkanı' diyecektir). Bölge Bilim Lideri, seçkin olma yolculuğunda öğrencileri ve üniversiteyi desteklemede çok önemli bir rol oynayacaktır. Alan, ulusal beceri eksikliğinin giderilmesini sağlamak için eğitim için artan bir odak haline gelen STEM'in bir parçası olan Biyoloji, Kimya, Elektronik, Mühendislik, Jeoloji ve Fizik konularını kapsamaktadır.
