A trip to Filey for Biology Students

Our Science students recently embarked on a fascinating trip to Filey Beach for an unforgettable blend of Biology and Geology exploration!

Our geology enthusiasts had a

fantastic time combing the shoreline and scouring the rocks in search of fossilized treasures.

Meanwhile, our biologists were busy collecting individual samples of the rich coastal ecosystem. Students enjoyed using the field sampling method of Quadrat sampling.

Students not only learned about the natural world but also developed invaluable teamwork, fieldwork and observational skills that will support their academic and future careers.
