18.5 hours per week / Fixed Term to January 2027 / Term Time only
We’re seeking committed GCSE-level tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 and small group tuition to home-educated learners in a supportive, personalised environment. At the Home Education Hub, we believe every learner deserves a tailored approach, meaningful support, and opportunities to thrive — and our tutors play a vital role in making that happen.
37 hours per week / Fixed Term to January 2027 / Term Time + 1 week
We are looking for a Pastoral Coordinator who can bring warmth, professionalism and consistency to the Hub. You will be at the heart of daily operations, helping to create a purposeful, welcoming space where learners feel confident, supported and ready to thrive.
37 hours Mon - Fri – Permanent Term Time +1 week
Join our dedicated pastoral team at John Leggott College as a Progress Tutor and play a vital role in shaping the futures of young learners. As a Progress Tutor, you’ll support students throughout their educational journey, helping them achieve their full potential in a positive and nurturing environment

Our Location
John Leggott College is conveniently located on a spacious, green campus in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. Just 10 minutes from the M180, our site is easily accessible via the M18 and M1, making commuting straightforward from across the region.
Staff travel to our college from across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, including Doncaster, Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Hull, Sheffield, Pontefract and Lincoln.
Scunthorpe itself is a well-connected town offering a low cost of living, easy access to the Lincolnshire Wolds and Humber estuary, and ongoing regeneration that includes leisure, retail, and cultural developments.
