Attendance Officer
About the role
John Leggott College is committed to ensuring that all our students achieve their full potential through high attendance and full participation in our courses. To support this goal, we are seeking to recruit a dedicated Attendance Officer who will play a key role in improving student attendance by working closely with students, parents/carers, and staff across the college.
As the Attendance Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and promoting high levels of student attendance. You will work with a designated cohort of students to identify and address attendance issues, liaising with parents/carers and collaborating with pastoral and curriculum teams to implement effective attendance strategies.
In return, we pride ourselves on offering more than just a place to work. At JLC, we promote a wider college community where departments, staff, and students come together to create a dynamic and supportive environment for all. By joining our team, you will have an opportunity to experience a collaborative and inclusive work culture, to partake in diverse and engaging activities and events and to be able to utilise state-of-the-art resources and facilities. On top of this you will also get the opportunity to work with dedicated educators, as well as the possibility for professional growth and development.
John Leggott College has a strong commitment to Equal Opportunities, Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.
