Campus & Facilities

YOUR COLLEGE

A Modern Campus

John Leggott College is proud to be one of the longest standing sixth form colleges in the country. While our campus has been here for over 50 years, it continues to adapt to the needs of our students. The college is currently under renovation, with the addition of a brand new multi-million pound extension. Our impressive facilities include state-of-the-art equipment to ensure our learners have everything they need to achieve their goals.

John Leggott College prides itself on it's ability to offer our students a wide range of social spaces to enjoy, giving learners plenty of opportunity to find a place to relax, eat or study. We have two fantastic dining options which cater to most dietary requirements along with the always popular Costa Coffee!

Wi-fi is enabled throughout the campus so students can check emails, browse the internet, watch videos and listen to music.

Parking

John Leggott College benefits from extensive parking for students and staff which is available during all college hours. Our students can access large parking facilities in a dedicated car park situated directly across the road from our campus. Students are asked to pay a campus charge to access parking. To purchase your parking pass, please see Student Services. Many students choose to car-share to reduce travel costs and environmental impact.

If you want to do coursework or conduct extra research you can make use of our large open-access IT centre. There are PCs as well as additional space to work and connect your own devices and timetabled classes are often held in the Portal throughout the year in one of our three dedicated IT bays. The Portal is where our IT support team is based, so if you have any IT-related queries, feel free to speak to one of the staff and they will be happy to help.

THE HEART OF JLC

The Core

The Core is our central hall which houses our immersive space - an incredible 180 degree screen which can be used by staff and students for lessons and extra curricular activities. We also hold regular live music sessions, talks and workshops in this space for all students to take part in.
