Your Wellbeing Matters
Our dedicated wellbeing team help to make sure that students are mentally, emotionally and physically healthy.
Within college we have a dedicated wellbeing team who help to make sure that students are mentally, emotionally and physically healthy. The team work closely with our students, teachers and pastoral staff to ensure that students are supported to deal with any problems they have.

Finding Support
We believe that student wellbeing is just as important as academic success. That’s why we offer a strong support network to help every student feel safe, supported and able to thrive.
Our dedicated Wellbeing Team at John Leggott College is available throughout the week to support students’ mental health, emotional wellbeing and physical wellness. Whether it’s a quick check-in or more ongoing support, students can drop into the Wellbeing Office to speak to the team. With over 1800 students at college, we recommend booking a 1:1 appointment to ensure a member of the team is available to chat.
You will find our Wellbeing Team based downstairs in the ARC, providing a welcoming space where students can seek advice, relax, or grab some helpful resources.

Our award winning Wellbeing Team is here to help you feel safe, supported and heard. Whether you’re experiencing stress, struggling with mental health, or just need someone to talk to, you can visit the Wellbeing Office downstairs in the ARC. If there is no one available in the office, simply book a 1:1 appointment with the team who will see you as soon as possible. If you need to speak to us about something urgently or have a safeguarding issue, please speak to any member of staff at college who can alert the safeguarding team.
We understand that college life can feel exciting, but also overwhelming at times. That’s why we take a holistic approach to student support, focusing on mental health, resilience, self-care, wellbeing strategies, work-life balance, motivation and stress management.
