Elective Home Education Hub
Supporting Home Education
Our vision is simple, to provide every home educated student with the support, confidence and opportunities they need to success and achieve their aspirations.
In 2025, John Leggott College took an important step in supporting our local community by welcoming home educated students to sit their examinations with us for the first time. To meet the increasing need, JLC has developed a dedicated Elective Home Education (EHE) Hub, located at the main John Leggott campus to provide a safe and structed environment where learners can access tuition, gain qualifications and participate in supportive pastoral activities.

How to Apply
If you are interested in joining the Elective Home Education Hub, attending tutoring sessions or arrange a place on our Maths/English programme - we'd love to hear from you!
To start the process, please complete our application form by clicking apply now below. You can also request a paper form by emailing ehehub@leggott.ac.uk
Once we receive your application, a member of the EHE Hub team will contact you to arrange a meeting. This meeting allows us to confirm the details of the application, discuss the learner's needs, interests and goals and explore the tuition/programme options that will best support them. We will also explain how the Hub works and what you can expect.
If the EHE Hub is a good fit for the learner, we will begin the enrolment process. This will involve confirming ID and agreeing a start date.
