Our Level 3 BTEC Business course is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to progress to further study or employment within the business sector. Who is this course aimed at?
This course is aimed at students who enjoy practical learning and want to understand how businesses operate in the real world. It is ideal for learners who enjoy problem-solving, working collaboratively and applying knowledge to realistic business situations rather than relying solely on examinations.
The qualification is particularly suitable for students considering careers in business, finance, marketing, management or entrepreneurship. It also provides an excellent pathway into higher education, higher and degree apprenticeships, or direct employment. Students with ambitions to start their own business or develop leadership skills will gain valuable knowledge and experience throughout the course.
Students should have achieved GCSE Grade 4 in both English and Maths, with an average points score of 3.2 or above. This course is ideal for students with an interest in business, entrepreneurship and the wider commercial world. Learners should be prepared to work independently, meet coursework deadlines and apply business theory to practical, real-life situations.
Assessment takes place through a combination of coursework and external examinations.
