Student Visa Guidance
Choosing to study in the UK is an exciting step, and we’re here to guide you through the process. If you are an international student who needs permission to study in the UK, you will usually need to apply for a Student Visa. This visa allows you to live and study here for the duration of your course.

UK Immigration Health Surcharge
Students who apply for a UK visa to join our two year A Level programme must pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) as part of the application. This fee is required by the UK government and ensures that international students can use the National Health Service (NHS) throughout the full length of their visa.

CAS Explained
A CAS, or Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies, is a key part of your Student Visa application. Rather than being a physical document, it is a digital record that John Leggott College creates in the UKVI system once you have met all the requirements to join your course.

British National Overseas Visa Holders
Students applying to John Leggott College with a British National Overseas visa will follow the same academic entry, document, and English‑language requirements as international students who would normally apply for a Student Visa.
