We're delighted that you have chosen John Leggott College to continue your journey of academic excellence as an international student studying in the UK. Applying is simple. Click the Apply Now button to download your international application form and begin your A Level or Level 3 study abroad journey. Once your application is submitted, our international admissions team will contact you to arrange an interview and guide you through the next steps of the application process.

Key Documents for International Students Applying to Study in the UK
There are a number of important documents all applicants must fill in as part of their application to John Leggott College. Once you have filled in the application form, students and parents will be asked to complete parent consent, medical and 'all about me' forms to ensure JLC are able to provide an exceptional level of service and care. How to Apply as an International Student –
8 Step Sixth Form Application Guide

Your 8 step application
Using the Apply Now or access the application form from our documentation page, the student submits:
1. Completed application form
2. Copy of passport
3. Translated copy of most recent school transcript/report
1. You will be offered an online interview
2. If you are successful on interview and your transcript meets the required grades, you'll receive a conditional offer.
Students must take an academic SELT to prove their English level, please check the required level here. Once you have your SELT certificate please send this to our International team. When this has been checked by our team you will then receive an unconditional offer.
To secure your place, you will need to pay your invoice. Please see more on our fees here. The next step will be to provide multiple documents for your Visa Applications, these include parental consent form, Birth certificate, medical form, vaccination records and an all about me form.Please see our Visas page for more detailed information.
Once all your visa documents have been received and verified, JLC drafts CAS (within 6 months of enrolment date). A draft is sent to you to check all details are correct, when confirmed, CAS is sent to you and a letter explaining how to apply for the visa.

Once VISA has been received, a copy of the decision letter/email is sent to JLC as well as a Sharecode to check the EVISA

If anything is wrong with the visa, you are responsible for letting JLC know before travelling to the UK. You must also inform UKVI in their own country to have this fixed.

Next, you will receive information about your host family. You will be encouraged to make contact with them prior to your arrival. Any outstanding fee's will need to be made before your travel to the UK. Please fill out an arrival form detailing your flight details and number of pieces of luggage
Our International Team confirms enrolment week dates. We will organise your transport from the airport to your host family. You must keep hold of your flight tickets and provide them to us on your enrolment day.
