About this course
This course is ideal for learners who would like to progress onto a media based career. This course has a highly practical focus, students will cover all aspects of the production process. They complete a set of projects designed to develop a broad range of media based skills. Learners will also gain a detailed understanding of research methodology. Learners will explore both traditional and new forms of media. The course is designed to enable learners to either progress onto University and pursue a career in the media.

Are interested in changes in the media, such as new films, magazines etc.
Would like an opportunity to create practical media productions of their own
Would like to learn how to use media equipment, including photography, video equipment, web design packages and a sound studio

Would like to progress into the Media field in careers such as broadcast, journalism, advertising, public relations or media production
