International Buddy Scheme

Starting a new chapter in another country is one of the most exciting experiences a student can have, but it can also come with challenges. The Buddy Scheme pairs new international students with local JLC students who are there to offer friendly support, guidance and a familiar face on campus. It’s a simple idea with a big impact: students from around the world can settle in more quickly, feel part of the community and start building lasting friendships. From finding your way around Scunthorpe and exploring local attractions, to understanding how things work at college, your buddy is there to help every step of the way.
