JLC Open Events 2026/27

John Leggott College’s 2026/27 Open Events give prospective students and their families the opportunity to explore the college, discover study options and ask questions before making their post-16 choices.

Choosing a college is an important decision, and an open event provides the chance to experience the campus for yourself. You can find out more about the options available, explore the college environment and speak to staff about the questions that matter to you.

There are three opportunities to visit John Leggott College during the 2026/27 academic year, so there is more than one opportunity to attend.

When are the JLC Open Events?

The 2026/27 John Leggott College Open Events take place on three dates between October 2026 and February 2027.

The scheduled events are:

Thursday 8 October 2026 5pm–8pm

Saturday 7 November 2026 10am–1pm

Thursday 11 February 20275pm–8pm

If you cannot attend the first event, there are two further opportunities to visit the college.

What can you discover at a JLC Open Event?

An open event is an opportunity to discover options you may not have previously considered and experience the college campus for yourself.

It is also a chance to ask questions about the choices available to you. Whether you already know what you want to study or are still exploring your options, visiting the college can help you understand what your next step could look like.

The events are designed to help prospective students make informed choices about their college experience.

Why should you attend an open event?

Attending an open event allows you to see the college environment before making your decision about where to study.

For students considering post-16 education in Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire, visiting JLC provides an opportunity to explore the campus and ask questions directly.

You can use the event to find out information you need to feel confident about your choices and consider whether JLC is the right environment for you.
