JLC Sports Enrichment Gets Underway
John Leggott College’s sports enrichment programme has officially begun for the 2026/27 academic year, with more than 250 first-year students signing up to take part in sport.
The programme began with the Sport Enrichment Launch, where more than 200 first-year students joined the event and signed up for the opportunity to become part of a JLC sports team including Basketball, football, netball and rugby.
Yesterday, first-year students attended their first practice sessions for their chosen sports. The response was strong, with around 70 students taking part in football alone.
For students starting at JLC in 2026/27, sports enrichment provides an opportunity to get involved beyond the classroom, meet other students and contribute to college teams.
