Celebrating the Class of 2026: Achievement, Growth and New Beginnings
A couple of weeks may have passed since our Leavers 2026 celebration, but the pride we feel for this year's students remains as strong as ever. It is hard to believe that two years have passed since many of these students first joined John Leggott College, beginning a journey that would shape their futures, build their confidence and prepare them for the opportunities ahead.
As one of North Lincolnshire's leading sixth form colleges, John Leggott College has always been committed to helping students achieve their hopes, dreams and aspirations. Every year, we welcome ambitious young people from across Scunthorpe and the surrounding region, supporting them as they develop academically, personally and professionally.
For the Class of 2026, that journey has now reached an important milestone.
Which Students Won Awards at the John Leggott College Leavers Celebration 2026?
One of the highlights of our Leavers Celebration was recognising the students who received awards for their outstanding achievements.
These awards celebrate far more than academic success alone. They recognise dedication, resilience, determination, leadership and the positive contributions students have made to college life throughout their time with us.
To every student who received an award, congratulations. Your commitment to your studies, your willingness to embrace challenges and your determination to succeed have been truly inspiring.
Success, however, takes many forms. While awards recognise exceptional achievement, every member of the Class of 2026 has accomplished something worth celebrating. Whether progressing to university, an apprenticeship, employment or another exciting pathway, each student has reached an important personal milestone.

Through their programmes of study, enrichment opportunities, work experience placements and wider college activities, students have gained valuable experience that will help them stand out in higher education and employment. At John Leggott College, learning extends well beyond the classroom, helping students develop the confidence and capabilities needed for future success.
