Women In Leadership
On Friday 4th July, we were proud to host our first Women in Leadership event at John Leggott College, a powerful and inspiring day dedicated to celebrating female voices, experiences, and leadership in our community.
Throughout the day, we welcomed a lineup of dynamic guest speakers who generously shared their personal journeys, career challenges, and victories. It was a space filled with courage, wisdom, and authenticity. Stories sparked conversations and connections were built across industries and roles.
Claire Haller, Deputy Principal at JLC, shared her thoughts on the day:
"It's a really important day for us to bring together in the region to support one another in a safe space, allowing us to share ideas, consider blocks and barriers that they might face throughout their career. It's a really powerful opportunity to network and most of all support one another to be better versions of ourselves."
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible speakers, Heidi Stennett, Paige Crossley-Grozier, Carrie Jensen, and Ashleigh Prince for their honesty, strength, and generosity in sharing their stories. Their insights ignited meaningful discussions and left us all inspired to drive change, challenge limitations, and lead with confidence.
To every female leader and aspiring leader who joined us, we'd like to say thank you! Your presence and voice made this event truly special. Days like these remind us of the power of women supporting women and the importance of creating spaces where ambition, growth, and empowerment thrive.
We’re already looking forward to the next Women in Leadership event in the new academic year as we continue this vital conversation, together.
