John Leggott College is committed to excellence in international student recruitment. As a British Council partner, UKVI Licensed Sponsor, and public sector institution, we expect the highest standards from all agents representing the College.
Agents are key partners in supporting students and must act with professionalism, integrity, and transparency at all times.
All activity must align with:

Agents are expected to protect and enhance the College’s reputation in all markets.
You must:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of College programmes, entry requirements, fees, and facilities

Provide clear, accurate, and honest information at all times

Represent the College consistently and professionally

You must:

Advise students responsibly and recommend appropriate courses

Act in the student’s best interests at all times

Avoid misleading statements, including guarantees of admission or visa outcomes
Unethical recruitment practices are not tolerated.

Promote the College in a fair, respectful, and professional manner

Comply with all relevant laws and regulations in your country

Avoid any practices that may damage the reputation of the College or the sector

Follow all College application, offer, and enrolment procedures

Submit accurate and complete documentation

Support students to meet deadlines and requirements

Clearly explain fees, deposits, and payment requirements

Ensure students understand their financial responsibilities

Provide accurate guidance based on current College information

You are expected to:

Complete British Council AQF training
-
Keep your knowledge of UK education and visa processes up to date

Engage with College training, updates, and briefings

Provide JLC with updated AQF training certificates every 2 years.

Comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018

Use personal data only for legitimate recruitment purposes

Store and share data securely

Act honestly and in good faith

Never falsify or misrepresent information

Never guarantee admissions or visa outcomes
Any breach of these standards may result in termination of the partnership.

This document outlines operational expectations only.
All commercial terms, including commission, are agreed separately through individual contracts or commission schedules. The signed agreement will always take precedence.
